When I first moved over here I inherited a list from a friend who was doing the opposite and moving home.
It was a list broken down by area with her favourite cafes, restaurants and bars around London. Amazing! This list was incredible and became my foodie bible!
So I thought I would do the same for you guys, adding in my own, as it is hard enough managing to find a flat, job and deal with Citymapper – eating should be an easy reward.
So welcome to the Brunch List!
I am starting with brunch because in my opinion it is the best meal of the day. You can have breakfast or lunch and drinking is acceptable. Triple win!
(Note I will include ones I haven’t been to but are on my to-go-to list but will * them)
Caravan Kings Cross
The Elk in the Woods*
Granger & Co (though the best branch is in Notting Hill)
The Barge House
Towpath (shut over winter)
Duck and Waffle
The Modern Pantry
Rock my Bowl (stall at Maltby Market)
Bourne and Hollingsworth (good bottomless brunch)
Sky Garden (any – I do like the little walk-in cafe Rhubarb, pop in after their Saturday Yoga)
Chiltern Fire House*
The Ivy Market Grill*
Honey & Co
Flesh and Buns* (Bottomless Brunch)
The Lido Cafe*
Gail’s (sweet corn fritters!)
Bungabunga* (crazy bottomless brunch)
Jam tree (also does Bottomless)
Granger & Co
The Good Egg*
Berber & Q* (been only for dinner….currently)
Friends of Ours
Climpton & Sons*
What else should go on the list?
